Giving Up Your Boxer
It is our goal to assist you in finding a way to keep your beloved pet, however if no solution can be found we are here to assist in finding it a new home. Unfortunately because there are so many boxers in need of rescuing sometimes we have to turn some away. We do not like to do this! To assist us in helping your boxer find an excellent home we may ask that you continue to house the dog until an appropriate home can be found or we may have to refer you to other rescue groups.Shelter dogs, abandoned/injured dogs take priority over owned dogs. RPR will accept owned dogs only when space allows. When you fill out the Owner Surrender form below please fill out as much information about the dog as you can to help us place him in the appropriate home. Please be sure to read the contract carefully because you are surrending all rights to the dog.
Please click here to open our Owner Surrender Form in Adobe Acrobat Reader.
We ask that the dog be up to date on shots, spay/neutered, and on heartworm prevention. We will require proof of the medical before a posting goes on the website. We will need a photo, a write up on the dog and your contact information. We will not be responsible for guaranteeing the health or personality of the dog; the placement will be up to the owner and potential adoptor. This is not an avenue to “sell your dog” and we ask that a donation be made to this rescue organization for our assistance in placement.
